Mahindra XEV 9e & BE 6 Long Range Variants Ready for Delivery by Month-End
Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to begin deliveries of its new Pack Two variants for the XEV 9e and BE 6 electric SUVs by the end of July 2025. The rollout of this phase marks the introduction of a higher-capacity 79 kWh battery, supplementing the previously offered 59 kWh option. With this, the price range now begins at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base BE 6 and extends to ₹26.50 lakh for the top-spec XEV 9e variant with the larger battery.
Existing customers waiting for their deliveries are being offered the flexibility to upgrade their bookings to the new long-range version if they wish to.

Fast Charging & Real-World Ranges
The 79 kWh variant offers a claimed city driving range of up to 500 km, while the standard 59 kWh trim delivers around 400 km under real-world usage. Rapid charging is supported on both; the 59 kWh version is compatible with 140 kW DC chargers, and the larger pack can be recharged from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 175 kW charging setup.
Please note: Charging hardware is sold separately, with 7.2 kW and 11.2 kW wallbox options available at an additional cost.
Features Remain Fully Loaded
Despite the battery sizes, Mahindra hasn’t skimmed on the tech and comfort. Both versions continue to offer:
- Level 2 ADAS features
- Panoramic glass roof
- 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos
The BE 6 now incorporates luxury elements from Pack Three, such as sage leatherette upholstery and a premium ivory roof liner. Meanwhile, the XEV 9e retains its signature triple-screen interior with a clean, modern layout.

Performance and Powertrain Breakdown
Here’s how the power outputs compare:
- 59 kWh pack is paired with a 170 kW motor
- 79 kWh pack gets a beefier 210 kW electric motor
Both deliver power to an electric drivetrain providing a choice of multiple driving modes, including a “Boost Mode” for quick acceleration. Riders also benefit from multi-stage regenerative braking, an intelligent Auto mode, and a single-pedal driving option for added convenience.
Ride Quality and Engineering Highlights
Handling and ride comfort are central to the XEV 9e and BE 6 experience. Key components include:
- Electric Power Steering with Variable Gear Ratio – Ensures easy maneuvering with a tight 10-metre turning radius
- iLink front suspension with 5-link rear setup – Paired with MTV-CL shocks and frequency-sensitive damping for optimum comfort on uneven terrain
- Low-rolling resistance tyres – Developed in sync with the cabin’s NVH insulation to reduce noise and improve ride quality
